About Me
My Background
I am a self-taught artist, specialized in woodcarving, something that I have been doing for the last 23 years. Realism and quality are my main goals in all my creations. I have had the honor of exhibiting my work in remarkable places, such as Katmandul, India, representing Puerto Rico and the USA in the Wood World Day; very selected art fairs, such as Ferdinart, Plaza Las Americas Annual Art Fair, among others, and had my first museum exhibition in October 2010 in Casa Museo Serrallés, called: "Juventud, Madera, y Pasión" ("Youth, Wood, and Passion").
My Medium
I use mediums, such as wood, clay, acrylics, and oil pains. I strongly believe that the best and the most expensive are not always synonyms.
My Inspiration
I enjoy diving and sight seeing in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these adventures in nature. I love recreating birds and sea animals in my work.
